Over 350 host organizations across BC have delivered a Food Skills for Families program since 2008.  These include community centres, community kitchens, neighborhood houses, immigrant and refugee agencies, friendship centres, churches, schools and many more.

By hosting a Food Skills for Families program, organizations can support their clients and their families in gaining the knowledge, skills and confidence to shop, cook and eat healthy.

The program helps to build healthy families and healthy communities while serving those at risk for chronic disease, including Aboriginal, Punjabi, newcomers, low income families and seniors.
